Piaggio MP3 250
As far as we know, there are currently only two MP3 250’s in Memphis – but then again, we’ve only been open since September. You don’t simply look at the MP3 on a website, and then rush out to get one. Given how strange this scooter looks from just the picture, you have to see it in person, go back…see it again, and then decide to buy it. It is never any different – the first time you see an MP3 will still find yourself staring at the front wheels trying to figure out how it works. Spend a few minutes on Youtube searching for Piaggio MP3, and you will become even more entranced by the three wheel set up. Did the Italians have a little too much chianti the day the dreamed up this machine, or is this truly a technoligical marvel. Come to Metro Moto and once you sit on it – or better yet, get a chance to actually test drive one, you’ll forget you’re on a three wheeled monster, and understand why it is so easy for Piaggio to get it right - they’ve been in the scooter business for 60+ years.
Sure, you can buy a Can-Am Spyder for around $20,000 versus the MP3 250 at just $7,199, but you also only get about 30 mpg. For commuting around town, and running to the store, we promise you’ll get just as many looks and questions about where you bought it, how much does it cost, and what the heck is it!?! Better yet, you’ll wonder why it took so long to get an MP3 250 because of how much fun you’ll have riding this machine. Piaggio tends to mean business when compared to Vespa, so the MP3 comes in what we call “business black” or “sporty silver”.
