Vespa LX 150

The LX 150 has a powerful 150cc engine, allowing for an impressive highway like 59 mph.  In what we expect to be our biggest seller, the LX 150 has a low center of gravity, an 11″ front tire, and 10″ back tire, allowing for more control and agility.  If the Piaggio MP3 is the Darth Vader of scooters, then the LXV 150 is Luke Skywalker of Vespas.   Confident, yet not cocky, yet with plenty of power to handle any situation on the streets of Memphis.   While possessing the classic visual clues of Vespa’s past, there are plenty of design features that makes it obvious that this scooter is a modern peice of machinery.

For your standard scooter trips, such as the occasional commute to work, and quick jaunt over to the grocery store, or for a cup of coffee at Starbucks, the LX 150 is both maneuverable in tight areas, but with a smooth enough ride to soak up the occasional bumps.  While we appreciate the value of the Piaggio 150, when you examine the finish of the LX150, it really does feel like it will last a lifetime.  Additionally, unlike any other scooter on the market today, no one else is producing the same type of sheet metal body that Vespa is doing.

The LX 150 comes in a broad array of colors which perhaps explains its appeal to both men and women.  At the far end of the spectrum is the recently release limited edition “pink”!   With a special white piping seat, it almost screams “barbie”.   In graphite black, with the tan textured seat that needs to be seen to appreciate, the LX 150 looks like a serious commuter tool, but with a fit and finish of a black Mercedes E55, and the styling of a Ferrari.
